FAQ

What’s a zine?

We are using the broad term of the word ‘zine’ to include self-published books, comics and magazines. Zines are usually produced on a low budget and people who self-publish are often referred to as ‘the alternative press’. For a more detailed description, have a look at Wikipedia.

How much do the events cost?

Most of the events will be free to attend or have a small entry fee. We’d much rather you spent your money on zines! We ask you to support the creators as best you can, but if you just want to come along to have a browse, that’s fine too and there’ll be plenty of freebies on offer!

How do I find the venues?

Our venues can be found on Google Maps . If you need specific directions or advice on travel, please feel free to contact us!

How do I book a table at the zine fair?

All of our exhibitor tables are now booked out. For those who missed out on one, or for those who only have a handful of zines to sell, we’ll be running a communal table filled with an eclectic mix of different publications. We sell the zines, you take all the money from any sales your publications make! Full details can be found here.
